It Sucks To Get Robbed

Good lord, what a hassle this is. All my credit cards were stolen out of my car, along with my drivers license, my insurance card, some bank checks, and some cash. Now I have to go through the trouble of canceling all my credit cards, changing my bank account, getting a new drivers license, and getting a new insurance card.

On top of all this, the cop that's out there dusting for prints right now doesn't seem like he's too eager to catch this guy. I have the locations where my credit card was used today along with the amounts of all the purchases. It would be simple to check the security cameras at the 7-11 and catch whoever did it. But, I won't hold my breath waiting for any results.

Sunday . . . It's Peyton's Day

2:19 PM
How the Colts are winning this game, I have no idea. They have played like absolute crap and lead 10-7. If they play mediocre in the second half, they're gonna blow Carolina out.

2:51 PM
I feel sorry for every person who paid money to watch this game in London. The Dolphins are beyond terrible, and I'm rooting for an 0-16 year.

2:57
Somehow in a matter of 30 minutes the Rams have managed to blow their 14 point lead on Cleveland. It's going to come right down to the wire this season in the battle for the worst team of all time.

3:23 PM
Wow, Manning just got drilled. Seeing him use the smelling salts causes all Colts fans' hearts to skip a beat.

5:52 PM
The Pats look unstoppable . . . I'm not feeling confident about the Colts playing them next week. I'll do a lot of praying in the following 6 days.

6:45
45-0, about 9 minutes left . . . yea I'm worried.

College Football Saturday

12:20 PM
I'm wrapped up in some FIFA 08, so the old pigskin will have to wait until I've established my dominance over Celtic's rivals, the hated Rangers.

1:20 PM
Victory is mine, 4-1 over Rangers, now on to the other football.

2:02 PM

West Virginia is thoroughly handling Rutgers. This is making South Florida's loss last Thursday that much more disappointing

2:48 PM
Scoreboard watch . . . Miss St. is leading on KY and could add another upset to the growing list for the 2007 season. My Hogs are also dominating the worst college football team on the planet, FIU.

4:38 PM
UF vs GA is shaping up to be a classic game. Casey Dick getting knocked out with a concussion could be the best news me and every other Arkansas fan gets all season. I have a hunch we may never see him on the field on again.

7:49 PM
I am currently wallowing in the sadness that this day has become. The Gators went down, South Florida got beat for the second time in a row, and FAU lost in OT to UL-Monroe 33-30.

8:11 PM
The all white student section looks awesome at Happy Valley. I'd like to see #1 go down and shake things up even further at the top of the BCS.

12:32 AM
It's no longer Saturday and it's no longer football, but 9-5 going in to the bottom of the 8th inning . . . this series is all but over.

Adios Antoine

Perhaps the only good news I've heard about the Miami Heat since game 7 of 2006, 'Toine is finally gone. Sure the heat may be a team full of washed up misfits, with an aging big man and a injury plagued superstar. But, Antoine Walker is off to Minnesota, and that alone will make this season more watchable.

And, yeah, the Heat did get too questionable players in return for Walker, Doleac, Simien, and a future 1st Rd. pick., but still . . . . no more "shimmy" . . . that's gotta be a good thing . . . . right?

Season Recap

The 2007 JV Football season came to a close last week. It was a disappointing year, with only two wins. However, with such a young team it was encouraging to see the amount of improvement each player made. For the last two games Drew Domino stepped in and started at quarterback for us and did a fantastic job. He has the potential to be the best quarterback in HCA history if he continues to work hard and improve.

Chris Oliveira and Matt Elder finished up the season with a strong showing at WR and SS Luke Walter had the hit of the season (which can be seen in the highlight video above).

Daniel and Stephen Kies led the team on the defensive side of the ball in almost every statistical category. The brothers were also our two leading rushers.

I want to encourage everyone to stick with the sport and continue to work hard. Each player from the 2007 team can have a successful future career for the Knights.
